Organize a workshop/lecture on becoming an EU recognized Youth Trainer in the Salto Youth Trainer Database

  1. TITLE: Workshop/lecture on becoming an EU recognized Youth Trainer in the Salto Youth Trainer Database Bookmark and Share
  2. INTRO
    1. The event will be coached by one or more trainers from the Youth Trainer database managed by Salto.  Salto manages this trainer database with youth trainers for several EU organizations s.a. the Council of Europe and the Commission to provide them with quality youth trainers and specialists.
    2. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to what Salto is, the EU Youth Policy, the link between formal and non-formal education, prepare a profile to put into the Salto Youth Trainer Database, learn to work with some toolkits, e.g. 
      1. spreadsheet to develop a quotation for when they'd be hired to animate a trainingscourse or event
  3. HISTORY/BACKGROUND
    1. I'm registered as youth trainer nr. 38 in the Salto Database.  I've been fortunate to find out about these resources as a youngster, which made me a better person and I want to share all what I've learned with all youth so they can also link-up with these opportunities and it is a way for me to support the EU and International Youth Policy.

      3. Set-up a Virtual Space to work-out things.  
        1. Train the trainers in how this works.
      4. Work out your experiences and workshops in your Virtual Space
      5. Learn to work with Template spreadsheet for Quotations for Lectures/Workshops according to the Salto Trainersfee logic
      6. Present the results to the YOUR ORGANISATION's board
      7. Reach out

      3. Total = 2 days @ € 323.46/trainer.day to € 555.46/trainer.day including € 232 per diem (Trainer = Salto and YOUR ORGANISATION's co-organizers)
      4. Details in this spreadsheet which are according to the Salto directives and therefore can probably be paid back via the Belgian or EU Youth Programs and eventually sponsorship as a second resort.

        1. Fees can probably be obtained from filling in an application form with your Ministry responsible for Youth, in the framework of youth trainings or directly at the DG for Education / Youth In Action funding program or similar.
