Fwd: IN MIDDLE EAST, BAN HAILS 'HEROISM AND QUITE COURAGE' OF GAZANS

Begin forwarded message:
Mr. Ban, who is on his first visit to Gaza in over a year, said that the closure "causes unacceptable suffering of human beings," with half of the area's population, which is under the age of 18, suffering the most.

"The policy is also counter-productive," he emphasized. "It prevents legitimate commerce and encourages smuggling. It undercuts moderates and empowers extremists."  http://www.un.org/apps/sg/offthecuff.asp?nid=1398

Extract on the work in progress "Workshop on how to make war"
- make sure you train kids and youngsters in thinking good-evil, black-white, yes-no versus collaboration
- think in terms of us versus them, we versus they,
- train to generalize and extrapolate: all ... are bad, e.g. all of them are bad, so all of us are good
- don't bother to learn the abc: a-level = read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights before the age of 14, learn about Agenda 21, know what a peace bomb is, learn how to debunk "conspiracy theories"
